UI/UX Leader

UX/UI Leader is a professional who is responsible for leading and managing the user experience & design process within a company or project . Play a crucial role in ensuring that products, services, or digital experiences are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs and expectations of the target audience. A Creative savvy person who has a good understanding of web, mobile, social, system portal and other related ecosystems. Also responsible for delivering the best online user experience, using various methods and latest technology. You will spearhead the UI/UX and design thinking for one of the largest ecom, fintech & bank in the region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create wireframes, storyboards and sketches to deliver beautiful and intuitive products;
• Strategic planning, define product workflows, interactions and UI specifications in close collaboration with product managers, stakeholder and the engineering team to align the overall UX strategy and goals of a project or product;
• User research : conducting or overseeing user research activities, such as user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, to gather insights about user needs, behaviours, and preferences.
• Strategic planning, collaborating with stakeholders, such as product owner/managers and executives, to define the overall UX strategy and goals of a project or product.
• Leadership of UI/UX team, including hiring and mentoring; Managing and mentoring a team of UX Designers, Researchers, and other specialists involved in the user experience design process. This may involve assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering collaboration. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
• Develop personas and usage scenarios and conduct usability testing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 7+ years of user design or equivalent practical experience at a consumer-focused software company or one of the largest ecom, fintech & bank in the region;
• 3+ years of proven UI/UX design and interactive work experience;
• Dedication to exceptional user experiences with obsessive attention to detail;
• Experience with prototyping with UX design tools required;
• Ability to apply design principles across web, mobile and native platforms;
• Experience with building a team of UI/UX designers and leading them through complex projects a plus;
• CSS, HTML, and Java Script not required, but would be a plus;
• High proficiency in popular design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision Studio, Figma, Photoshop, Adobe and After Effects;
• Excellent project management and communication skills to ensure deadlines are a must;
• Must be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems;
• Strong desire to solve challenging problems, learn new things and wear many hats as part of an early stage company;
• Enthusiasm for working in a demanding, startup environment;
• Superb communication and collaboration skills;
• Passion for extraordinary design

• Time: Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 17:00, Saturday: 8:00 – 12:00
